The Crescendo Trust of Aotearoa nurtures, empowers and gives lifelong skills to young people who would otherwise fall through the gaps of traditional education. We do this with hands-on mentoring and training in music, film/photography, media and communication. Our goals are personal development and re-engagement in learning, education and employment. Young Carers NZ
Young Carers NZ is a new network for Kiwi children and young people who care for ill, elderly, or disabled loved ones. 8% of young people up to the age of 24 are young carers. Young Carers NZ provides information, support and advice to help young carers know what help is available, and that they are not alone in their role. To view their application click here. Fair Food is Auckland’s first registered Food Rescue Charity, working to deliver its vision of ‘Addressing Hunger and Tackling Food Waste’. This dynamic organisation has delivered on its strong environmental and social goals across the Auckland region since its inception in 2012 and is excited about the future prospects for Food Rescue in Auckland.
